A heart healthy diet reduces blood pressure (limiting the potential for high blood pressure) and reduces body fat (limiting the potential for obesity). Toss in regular exercise and you can live a natural, healthy life free of high blood pressure - I am living proof.
The secret? Monitor the ratio of potassium to sodium (potassium:sodium ratio) & fat in your diet. If your diet has a 3:1 potassium:sodium - you are heart healthy. If your diet has less than 50g of fat per day - you are heart healthy.

Anything you do to raise the ratio (5:1, 8:1, 10:1, etc) is all bonus protection to your heart.
Anything you do to lower the fat (40g, 35g, etc) is all bonus protection to your heart and waistline.
